What should I expect if I visit on Sunday?
A basic tour...
When visiting on a Sunday, you will be welcomed at the door by a friendly person. If you need directions, this person can help.
If you're a little early, there is some freshly brewed coffee. Feel free to help yourself and connect with someone before the service.
If you're concerned about how to dress, don't be too concerned! Some people are more formal and others a little more relaxed. What's important is that we're here to worship and fellowship together.
Parking...
We employ a car guard to keep an eye over the cars parked outside. His name is Ivou please say hello to him.
What about our children...
We have child safety procedures in place so you can be rest assured that your children are safe. Your child will need to be registered, and you will be expected to ‘sign them in and out’. If you're unsure there are designated helpers to ask.
Our children are accommodated at the 9:30am service. They worship together in the Hall and then split up into age appropriate classes for a lesson about Jesus. Don’t forget to join in the NMC Children’s Message online via FB and Youtube.
Two services with slight variations...
The 8:00am service is more traditional whilst the 9:30am service is contemporary. We aim to complete each service within one hour, however we have been known to run over that time on occasion.
Tithes and offerings are also taken during the service. We consider this part of our worship, so we do this during the songs we sing. The person leading the service will give clear direction regarding this.
